Blogging is more than just a hobby, it is now considered as an income generator.
Aside from having blogs which has high traffic, one could be a “blogger for hire”. It means that you could be hired as bloggers for different topics provided that you would meet the requirement needed by the client. Being a successful blogger for hire requires hard work and a lot of patience.
Before you embark on this journey, there are some things which you need to know and if you are currently establishing yourself as such, the points which I am going to share with you could help in your goal.

a. Establish yourself as a blogger – Do not apply to blogger jobs saying that you are knowledgeable about it even though you are not familiar with blogging or even using wordpress. Remember that credibility is also important in blogging.
b. Know your niche – Writing about different subjects could not be the work for you hence you have to find a way to know which topics you consider as your “specialty”. Writing topics which you find interesting would be much easier for you than writing a topic that you don’t know about because it takes a lot of time and effort to be knowledgeable about certain things.
c. Determine your working hours and pay rate – Know the time length which you have when blogging so that you would be able to gauge how long you would be able to finish your blogging gigs. This is extremely important if you are doing blogging as your part-time job. Aside from that, estimate your price (either per post or per hour) so that the client/company would know your range.
